Hangover

Urggh, I was so hungover this morning... but maybe I should start from the beginning, that being a sensible place to start...

It was my birthday on Sunday :-) I've now reached the grand old age of 23 and obviously had to celebrate accordingly. Being a sensible kind of person (hmmm) and knowing that I had lots of things to do and 9 'til 5 days at the beginning of the week, I had a fairly quiet sunday. Just farted around really and played some more Morrowind. Then I had about eight friends over to watch a film chosen by Greg. Allowing Greg to choose a film is generally a bad idea, last time he got Wild Wild West. If you haven't seen it then... don't! It's awful! This time was marginally better with the ridiculous but amusing: The long Kiss Goodnight.

Anyway, after a week of general busy-ness, working on financal simulations (urggh!) and doing my final dissertation presentation (yay! - (that's "Yay, I don't have to do any more" not "Yay, I like presentations")) I went out for a big meal last night. I don't know whether you've noticed, but March is definitely birthday season, obviously something to do with the beginning of the summer being 9 months before! There's been about 5 friend's birthdays in the last week or so and there's more coming (no pun intended!). So the meal last night was for Simon, me and another James (who is now 25 - quarter of a century and all that). We went to the Coconut Grove Mexican restaurant, which was excellent. I discovered 1 litre bottles of wine and they gave us a free bottle of tequila. At one point I had three full glasses in front of me: red wine, tequila and champagne! After that, we had to go to the pub for beer and then the inevitable Scrubway.

So this morning... Right now I feel a bit hungover, this morning I felt actually dead! I had to go into uni at 9:30am and my head hurt a lot. Fortunately I was able to come back and go to sleep for several more hours. By 4pm I was actually able to eat solid food!

Anyway, enough waffling. I've put up some of the pictures that I've produced with my
new toy. There's only a few there and I know they're crap (although I quite like this one). I've done some others which I might put up in the next few days as well. You can find them here.
